i've really been getting into rod stewart's early stuff lately; and my favorite stuff has to be his work with the Faces. Now, the Faces was a killer band with class musicians like ronnie wood (of the stones) on guitar, killer drummer Kenny Jones, Ronnie Lane on Bass and Ian McLagan on keyboards. now before you go tell me that i should be listening to adult contemporary stations, give this track a listen and you too will be swayed, enjoy told ya

coming up i was a big Beastie Boys fan, and my favourite B Boy, was always Adam Yauch aka MCA. he always had the best ryhmes, and style. The albums Paul's Boutique, and check your head were so instrumental in my life, that hearing them now takes me back to a particular day and time.

This morning i heard that MCA passed away after a long fight with cancer. truly shitty news as he was and is one of my hero's. so to everyone that was influenced or loved the what the b boys did, take a moment for MCA and for the radness that he bought to our lives.
